Message 2/68 to 2/69 196th B co 2d platoon first 6mo or so and then in E

co(recon) Does anybody remember the day A co called in air support

to take a hill; B co was on an ajoining hill and could hear the enemy

machine gun let off a burst as each plane took its run; A WWII type

plane South Vietnamese went down just like the movies in flames nearby

A couple of American jets were called in to get this guy; He took 1 jet

out<br>Was that the day the war was lost?
