was WIA. We had no way to find out what happened to him after he was

Med-e-Vaced out. <br><br>Sounds like he has done well and my hat is off

Message i was in vietnam- aug '71--july '72 c-battery 3/82nd artillery base piece(3)

went in country cam rahn bau attached to 23rd infantry jumped to da nang

area-lz 350--attached to 196th infy made several jumps around area east

&amp;west back to 350 attached to 101st jumping north zig zaging e to w

north to phu bi dmz reattached to 196th until i left in july of 1972..i was

medivaced out of da nang with busted appendix to 1army hospital on china

sea to okinawa for 30 days then back to same unit in dang

as they grow.let them know that grandpa was one of the proud who fought

Message Joe and Ed, I too was in the MLK riots. I was a short timer stationed with the

third herd at Ft.Myers, and from the DC area. I had completed my tour in

Nam and all I could think about was surviving one and then getting screwed

up right here in my own city.<br><br>Greg
