Message I am very thankful to the Chopper that picked us up. I am very thankful to

medical team in Tay Ninh that helped keep me alive. I am thankful to the

transport both to the evac hospital and the team that brought me back to

the states and I am so very thankful to the burn hospital that made me work

so hard to keep use of my hands and fingers. From the whole explosion I

pretty messed up as I write it but I am going to say it anyway. Tom Pollard

and I hit a land mine on November 10, 1966 on the road out of Tay Ninh

and I am thankful to all that participated in out rescue. I was burned

seconds and third degree burns and was sent back to the state at Ft. Sam

Brooke Army Hospital Burn Unit For many months of treatment that I can

Message Well, I made it through another anniversary. I was wounded on 11-20-68 on

Nui Chom. Every year at this time, start having the night mares again for a

while, then on the 20th, I spand a lot of time remembering those brothers in

arms who went through the same hell, those who survived and the ones
