Message Joe Phillips and I served together in Delta 1/46 196th. He arrived about

mid-way through my tour and together we covered 69-71. I've kept in touch

with Joe because he always struck me as smart, informed and dependable.

In fact I always considered him my most dependable platoon member.

Today I got an email from Joe and he's in Iraq fer chrissake! As a retired

Calif. Hwy. Patrolman he hired on with some outfit to help train the Iraqi

police. Good luck Joe! and keep your ass down!
