Message I remember Lt Genereux on Hill 251 and his post is consistent with my

memory...seems too like he was an NCO who got a promotion to

Lt....excellent officer who looked out for him men...........I was with Recon

2/1 at the same time on Hill 251......Best to all of us as we age and our

memories fade......sometimes I wonder was Nam real or just a

dream...........bad/good........maybe both....but we must remember to honor

those who were violently taken from us or seriously wounded there...........

Message I have a question for you medics. I had jungle rot in Nam so bad that my

feet and lower legs were purple. The medic put some kind of thick stuff that

looked like lard only thicker. It burnt like crazy but worked. It killed all of the

hair follicles on my legs. Can anyone of you medics remeber using it and if

so, what was it? Tim, Sgt. Marty D/2/1
