Message To Allison:
Just for clarification purposes, it was the Americal Division,

and within that is the 196th Light Infrantry Brigade. What Jack Krohn is

trying to say, is that within the 196th LIB, are battalions, companies,

platoons and squads. Since your father was a member of the 196th LIB as

an infantryman, he would have been a member of the one of the battalions

he mentioned. It would be of great importance to acquire this information,

so that we can assist you in finding vets he served with.

deployed to Vietnam, November, 1967 and left, October, 1968. He was not

part of any of those batallions. It was 196th Light Infantry division and

Americal brigade. Am I missing something?
THANK YOU

Message I travel frequently between the US and Canada on business.
A passport

is required to enter Canada and then enter the US from Canada upon

return. Previously, that was not the case, however, the war on terror has

changed immigration rules.
