Message William H Fain, I was also in D, 3/21, 196th in 1972. I don't recall your

name, but, after all this time, that doesn't mean anything. I have a lot of

pictures posted at "jimcomer(dot)smugmug(dot)com/vietnam".

Bill Doyle was also in our company and sent me his pictures too. They are

mostly Hawk Platoon. Take a look and see if you recognize anyone.

Message It is with deep sorrow that I leave this message, at about 2:00am on 10/30

Tommy Lamberson lost his battle with cancer and has gone to be with his

God. Tom was with Echo Co., 1/46th from September thru

December,1969. Tom served in Recon and was seriously wounded after

only three months in country. Our prayers go out to his entire family.

Welcome Home Brother, you will truly be missed by many.

Message Served in Co.B 2/1 196th. DaNang Aug 1971 till July 1972.<br>Best i can

remember was 3rd platoon, first squad. Carried the M60. Hard for me to

remember a lot,as for as places we humped or flown into.Tried to lose all

memory of the place.I would not tell anyone I served in Nam until my son

was in the Army in late 99.Will try to find my address book with names. My

assistant gunner was Doug Wearner from New Jersey. Would like to hear

from him and anyone else from that time.
