Message I was USAF assigned to the 196th at the end of 1966-beginning of 1967 to

load unload aircraft. I left in April of 1968. I came from Dau Tang right after

Attleboro. I'm looking for the guys that worked the airfield during that time.

Message Hi Mike Sanchez. I join A Co. 1st platoon mid august 1969. I was 1st

platoons RTO in October of 69. Sargent Borrelli and Sargent Cruz were

probably with you May of 69. We got hit hard March 19 1970 working with a

mechanized unit. We thought it woold be a gravy mission, the NVA would

not mess with Tanks, Wrong. Welcome home brother.

Message According to the Vietnam Wall sight, we lost another orginal brother today.

2nd Lt Robert Charles Osborne. He was with 3/82 C Bty. I didn't know him

but i know he is being well taken care of because he had allready spent his

time in hell. God bless him and his family. Hope to see you all in Buffalo.

Message I was there 13 May 69. I think it was Charlie Troup 1st Cav. we got hooked

up with. Just outside of Tam Ky. Horse shoe ambush I think they called it,

NVA. I will never forget that day or the days and nights up on that ARVIN

Hill, dead NVA,chicom grenades all kinds of gear. Patrols off the Hill and

incoming mortors when re-supply choppers came in. Remember Snoopy

and those million candle flares he would droup at night. We lost a bunch of
