Message Visited Paul Cahill's website yesterday. It was great to see him enjoying life

& to have done so well. I was in C/2/1 in basic training &

remember Lt. Cahill well. He never talked down to the recruits but he

expected the best you could give. I think that's why so many of the guys had

the utmost respect for him & so many of the other officers &

NCO'S at that impressionable time in our lives. Sure would like to hear from

any of the guys from the 196th, especially D/2/1,Anti-tank platoon &

Message Jim Armstrong, i remember Lt. Cahill. i think, at the time, he was the

youngest person to graduated from OCS. The Lt. was an original with 2/1. I

tried the web site you gave and it didn't respond. Thanks for the brief

history on Paul. He was a soldiers soldier as well as a good man.
