Message Tell me if I'am wrong but I also remember Thanksgiving day 1967. Started

out early on a sweeping of hill 63 D co. started taken fire around 7:am

moved us up to support ( 3rd platoon 3rd squad 4/31 killed two nva in a

hole dug under a big rock with bannan trees around it. Blew another one

out of a tunnel which had already shot several guys trying to get him

out.<br>Helicopters dropped reenforcements between us and the nva.

Rpg'S took off top of apc. Set up night with rpg's still coming in.

Message Good memory Bill, I was in both, the Thanksgiving Day battle was my first

full day with the 196th in the boonies. I got there the day before in late

afternoon after spending 2 days up at center because of rain and overcast

weather. Thanks for your a job well done. I left on the 4th of Jan. with the

million dollar wounds.

Message my memory is fading,but I still start the Jan68 battles back at the

Thanksgiving 67 battles. It may be because I was on Center with B3/82,and

we were in support of both.
