Message I had rotated home on Dec 7th, but on Jan 8th my company was ambushed

by the 2nd North Vietnamese regiment, and lost more than 1/2 the

company. One of my buddies wrote me with the bad news. I could swear it

was in the A Shaw Valley. Were you pulling operations from Da Nang?

and were you in Chu Lai prior to that? I remember flying mail to the

company from Da Nang as I was waiting to rotate home. My company was

near the demilitarized zone in the A Shaw Valley?

Message Operation Cedar Falls, Tay Ninh, LZ

Center and the area around there. As, many of you probably know Neil

Powers and myself have been out to the LZ Center area and climbed up to

LZ Center a couple times. But, what I didn't know was that some of you were

in the Tay Ninh area. For those who would like photos of the Tay Ninh area

let me know. I've been back in that area probably 20 or so times since 1992

and have a bunch of photos and a little video, I made.
