Message Michael we moved from Chu Lai in Nov 67 to LZ Center which was west of

Tam KY. I was there from 10/67 to 10/68. 3/21 stayed on Center the whole

time except for may of 68 when we went to the dmz for the better part of

the month. Like I said D Co was ambushed by Nui Loc Son and A Co went

in after them and also got shot up. Lost a lot of men with some captured.

This was around the Jan 8 you were talking about. Stoney

Message I understand this is a site for the 196th, but, I was a Navy Corpsman onboard

the USS Sanctuary hospital ship which operated between Da Nang and the

DMZ. Between Oct. 70 and May 71, many of our incoming patients were

US Army, ARVN, ROK Marines, civilians and a few from the other side.
Having worked with so many during that time, I cannot remember

names, but if anyone was unfortunate enough to "visit" us, I'd

like to hear from you.
Keep up the good work.
Tommy Bolton,
