Message There in the incident of LZ JUDY was the first Puerto Rican i knew in Hawk

Hill. He was Martinez suplly clerk from delta. Today i still remember that

fellow. I found his name in the wall. Also i have talked with people who

were in the recovery. About couple of years ago i found to Sgt Rivera and

he told me that he went to Martinez home to give his MOTHER his HS

graduation ring. It was not good to talk about that.

Message Brother Jim Gray: you've been had, my man. This email circulates

periodically, making it sound like Freeman just died. He died 8/20/2008,

and it was covered in the press. Thought an old grunt like yourself would

have wondered what an Air Force chopper pilot was doing in the Drang

Valley in'65. Ed Freeman was an Army pilot with the 1st Cav., who was a

grunt at Pork Chop Hill in Korea. Read WE WERE SOLDIERS ONCE for

more on him and please check your facts in the future. Best, B.Dare A 4/31
