Message Five days after Joe Greear recommended "84 Charlie Mopic," I

received a copy and watched it last night. That is some amazing service:

$4 for the movie, $2.98 s&h of which $2.50 was postage.
Good

movie, well done battle sequences with some technical glitches, such as

the use of a radio loudspeaker on a LRP and the overuse of

"EllTee."
The term EllTee simply was unheard in

1966-67. Did it really become standard usage late in the war?
Well

Message I remember a sgt plotnik(?) when i first arrived in tay ninh and he was

helpful with advice on how to adjust to being in nam. I advanced to spec. 4

while there and was brigade guidon bearer before we moved to chu lai. I

remember arriving at chu lai in a c-130 and having to dodge sniper fire

while carring the guidon (some fun). Some brother thought I was CID and

came looking for me locked and loaded (went to long binh, I think). Also,

road shotgun On supply runs to saigon and carried dispatches.
