Message Ed Latini--well said, my man. By '68 there were so many casualties that

they didn't even take the time to process my CIB or Sam's Purple Heart--let

alone sit everyone down for a picture. Honestly, I cannot even comprehend

a yearbook, and can only remember a few (including you) who actually

made it a year! We would have had to have a "monthbook."

Message Looking for any information on my uncle Michael Delano Blea who served

with the 196th. I dont know a whole lot but would like to know the company

he served with and info on the battle he was killed in. From all I know he

was in country 3 weeks and died after 3 days in the bush. He was from

Fallon Necada and died while waiting for a dust off of May 13 1969 in the

Quang Tin province. I was able to receive his Army ring that was on his

finger when he died and where it proudly. Thank you for serving

Message The Second Year roster is only of those who were assigned to the 196th at

the time the book was produced.<br>I was WIA on 25 Feb. 67 and

medevaced to Zama Hospital in March. I am not listed so I assume only

those on roster as of May 67 are listed.
