first platoon from March 1969 til May 1970. The night that the 1st Cav got

infiltrated at Hawk Hill, Tennessee and I were on top of a bunker with his

Sixty. Had to retreat to inside bunker when mortars/RPGs started coming in.

Tennessee always wanted to cut the ears off of enemy kias.<br><br>Richard

Message I learned at the reunion that Alford R. Bell passed away. Al joined the 1st

Platoon, A, 2/1 Infantry in February 1969. He lived in Chattanooga, TN

and was 53 at the time of his death on December 9, 2000.

Message War is war!!! These limited engagements are killing us!! When in the history

of war could one side say ollie ollie umpum free and run to Cambodia then

or Pakiastain(SP) now. If we fought WWII like Vietnam we could never

Message Sorry,Gary you're right it was Buy Tin, but I didn't say anything about losing

the war, it was about blood on his hands for what he said at the Tet

offensive in '68'and for all the brothers that didn't make it back after

that.....the Shadow knows.....
