Message Pete and Mike, I just did some photos with the plastic still on and you

couldn't even tell it. Should be no problem at all. I even cropped a couple

of individual pics froma sheet my brother Tom sent me and them came out

perfect and they were from 67'.Tim Martin, Shreve, Ohio

Message I remember one incident on LZ Center when a Chinook came in with a sling

of 105 rounds. The wash from the rotor blades really whipped up the sand,

and, blew everything around. One of the guys, who will remain nameless

to protect the guilty, had all his stuff blown away after putting everything in

order in his line bunker. It really pissed him off. The next chopper that

came in was a Huey. He started shooting at it. It evaded his fire. BTOC

came and got him. It happened the summer of 1970

Message Michael Smith, your comment about the chinook blowing the dirt.

Remember the intransit tent up by the arty. It was around the first of the

year 67-68. It was raing like hell and water was running through the dug

down tent and a chinook came in with arty ammo and lifted the tent right

up out of the hole. We all took off cause we knew whoever was there would

have to put it back up. What a muddy mess. Sure do miss those days. LOL

Message Hello Michael Smith

Do you think the photos of LZ Center can be

scanned eventhough they are still in the photo album. I wouldn't think the

plastic cover would create too much glare. I would really like to see these

photos, if possible.

Thanks, Pete
