Message Hey Brothers,<br>There seems to be a consensus amongst a bunch of us

that there was a second survivor on the Chinook shot down at LZ Judy on

August 26, 1970. Guys from C/2/1 said that they met a survivor walking up

the hill from the wreckage who may have been medevaced out. They said

it was not Mr. Reid the Co-pilot. Does anyone have any idea what records

or documents we could search to find out for sure?

Sep 70. Went to Kham Duc with B/2/1. I remember another LT named I

believe John Shoemaker. Any of these or my name ring a bell?

Americal website look for decorations and awards to 196th units<br><br> All

in 196th can wear the VN Cross for Gallantry (unit award) on the right

left pocket. your DD214 should list all eligible medals.good luck
