Message Steve Bingen,
I have some vivid memories of my Uncle Barry even

though I was young (I was 4 1/2 yrs. old) and it was some time ago. I can

remember him sitting on my grandfathers porch and me running around,

also the homecoming picnic at our house with all the relatives, I can

remember riding in the front seat of his Volkswagen like it was yesterday,

and I can also remember that alarming phone call my dad got early that

morning from my grandfather... things would never be the same after that.

Message Ed O'neill

It would have to have been the same Barry. No one else

was referred to by their first name. I am sorry to hear that he was killed in a

car crash in '69. So many vets died in motorcycle and car crashes soon after

getting home. I guess they thought they were immortal after VN. I know of

more than one example. I had fast cars and motorcycles and took chances

too.

There was a CA highway patrolman that I had a run in with

that looked just like Barry.
