Message Hello again Mike Long. My tour was during the same months as yours in B

4/31. I wasn't out as much since I spent a lot of time in the various hospitals

and a remf job before transferring to artillery in Southern ICORPS.

Looking forward to the 2011 reunion since it is just up the pike

from me. I would make it to more of them but for the

expense.

Many thanks to the guys in the skies and arty for saving

Message Larry McKnight, seems like we had an awful lot of KIA'S due to short rounds

or mis-called fire missions. I lost 3 very good friends to our own artillery fire

on 2 different occasions. Is there any statistics concerning this?
Joe G.

sorts of missions around the 196th. Flew the OH6A, Hughes-built LOH. Got

to see the whole AO and many of you on the firebases and in the field.

Whatever happened to Col. Tackberry (sp???), our Brigade CO?? I flew

him many times. All my best....CW2 Dick Elgin
