Message Today, I will remember all my Delta 1/46 brothers and all your families, for

your service and your sacrifice, on this 39th anniversary of the 7 December

1970 mortar attack on our NDP. ... Especially Dennis Rouska and a young,

unnamed Vietnamese RF-PF soldier, who were killed, and their families.

God bless, and peace."LT" Tom Schmitz

Message Ken: I have seen Agent Orange maps over the years, with a variety of

information emphasized, but always showing a heavy and sustained use

just where and when the 196th was in the early days.
I have been

surprised that there has been relatively little discussion of this here. I hope

that this means we don't have a great number of the 10 plus conditions

caused by exposure. I have one (CLL) and do know of some others

affected, with one of the worst being problems of our children.

Message An interesting article in the Chicago Tribune includes an interactive map

showing Agent Orange sprayed areas for all years in Vietnam. For those in

the 196th that served in Tay Ninh, you will note that it was the most heavily

sprayed area in Vietnam during 1966 & 1967.
website:
(Click on the
