Message If your first, second or third attempt doesn't work, keep trying. Some of the

gatekeepers at the VA take their work real seriously and don't want ANYONE

to get in. It does vary from state to state so you might want to investigate

where you start your claim.

Do not attempt to handle the claim

yourself. The gatekeepers love that. Get one of the organizations, VVA,

VFW, American Legion, PVA and others. I fired my first three Service

Officers and finally saw a lawyer to get my rating.

Message If you are in doubt of the finding in a VA request on any service related

issue:
1. get a second opinion / record of treatment by a private Doctor

and present this data Diagnosis is the key
2. work with a trained

Veteran's Agent ( County agent DAV American Legion VFW. They work

with this and know how to respond to a Denial properly
3. each case is

unique and you will go wacky looking for logic. I was told my cancer was not

their problem I am now @ 100% Don't quit

Bob "Doc"
