Message Greg, I hate to disappoint you, but not all folks that are burdened with Type

II are overweight.

I am very lean at 165 pounds, 6 foot tall with a

33 inch waist, eat a healthy diet and exercise. I'm also a three tour Vietnam

vet. Oh yes when I was younger I had the 30 inch waist. I consider myself

healthy, no Type II in my family history. Don't smoke, drink or indulge in fast

food or sodas. But still a few years ago I was told that I had Type

II.

So take your advice and remarks and pack it

Message i am already on a 100% but they gave the borderline type two a 10% rating

that will go to 20% automatically when it becomes fullblown. I was already

in the system so it only took three months for the VA to approve claim. I

went through a NYS Veterans counselor. Like doc kelly said you have to

use organization as dav to submit claim. If you are in the system it wont

take so long. Va is backed by 700,000- 800,000 claims , so be patient.
