Message Hi guys,<br>I was in B Co. 1/46 from July '71 to Dec. when the Grim Reaper

almost claimed me. My nickname was 'Major' Pratt as I did a comic turn as

a British officer. I would love to hear from any of the guys from the old outfit

and remember particularly Tom Carter, 'Old' Gary Schendler (he was all of

24 or 25), Bob Smith, John Schick, Doc Boothe, Ssgt. Teel... the Sky

Message Too, Gary, I quit using them because I feared they might be boobie

traped....Too, one time we called in 155s from Hawk Hill right on our Recon

position, my Arkansas field got in one of those old foxholes and I didn't and

a piece of shrapnel hit right between us in the mud...our eyes must have

been as big as saucers...I was forever impressed with it being white hot

(sizzled) and the size of a playing card but rough edged and

Valley in Jan, 1971. We got hit about 2200 hours and the dinks, knowing

the location of those holes, were trying to crawl in there with us!
