Message I served in the 196th in Vietnam in 1966. I would like to find a person that I

served with named Robbie Robinson, and hear from others that served at

that time. I hope that everyone has a great Veterans Day

Message War Story for Adam Intravia: On Jan 9, 1970 we walked into an ambush.

Finding ourselves surrounded we circled up and dug in. James Intravia and

Charles Vanderbossche, our 90MM recoiless team dug in immediately

behind me. In an unsuccessful attempt to assault our way out on Jan 11,

Jim and Chuck were wounded and evacuated. In a subsequent mortar

barrage, one landed in the hole they had dug, setting off the cache of

90MM rounds. If they had not been wounded, they would have been blown

Message Yeah, I got the rest of it now- Dad and you have spoken, he's on here all the

time, he's figured out those details I thought I was going to find. Can't say I

didn't try, and certainly glad to have learned more. Thanks again, Ken.

Message Ken,<br>Wow, thanks. Have you spoken with him? He is on some websites

and I know he's done reunions, I could be barking up a tree he already

dealt with. Reading some of his writing I was amazed at his experiences

and the sadness of some of the missing names/memories that sounded

important to him. Thought it would be nice to try to connect some dots,

though I'm sure he did that already. I will keep looking- thanks a lot. Happy

Veterans Day and thanks for your time and serving w/ my dad!
