Eddie, your service officer is probably the best point of contact.  They guide you and advise you of what all you have to do. A good service officer (and from what I've heard, most of them are very good and concerned about you)  can save you from jumping through a lot of hoops. Check him out  and good luck in getting approved.

My service officer is an American Legion Representive with an office at the local VA hospital one day a week. on the others he is all over the state-he was a huge help for me. good luck!

Has anyone tryed to go through the DAV on a claim?
