I got a big envelope from the VA yesterday with a brochure explaining the VA health care system.
Unfortunately, one of the cover letters starts out "After careful and compassionate consideration, a decision has been reached on your claim."  It goes on to tell you how to appeal the decision, but not what it was.
Jusr what you want to hear.
Turns out that the letter is routine and no new action has been taken on your claim.
When you call, they apologize for the confusion.
Always on the ball, our VA.

Yeah, I got one also. Kind of figured it didn't actually relate to my claim, but I went on VA-ebenefits to check. Sure enough, nothing had changed with my claim, which has sat since April 2008. Still waiting....
