after having burning pain for the last 7 years and messing with the VA, I went to a private doctor for evaluation. RESULTS doc stated that the stuff VA was giving me was questionable. Put me on Lyrica 50 mg twice per day and recommended I try the transforamininal epidural steroid shot in the right lower back for the pain there and down the leg/ had it done testerday and at 5 am this morning I am pleased to report that 90 percent of the pain in the lower back (service connected) and the burning down the entire right side has dropped from a 9 to a 2 on a scale of ten. GLad I have private insurance lol medicare and tricare. wish I had done this 20 years ago.. will keep you all posted.
