he is on the HOnor roll as being in Co C and KIA on 05/12/1968
Never heard of anyone KIA on that date....however, the Virtual Wall has him as a
Co C 4/21 not Co C 4/31...
Please verify and correct as needed

We are trying to find someone from the 11 LIB or the 21 INF to see if they are marintaining their web site. If that does not happen Ken will move him to the 3/21 with a note that he was a Gimlet with C 4/21. We won’t drop him after all these years unless the 11 LIB can add him.

Per Joe Mahoney's investigation, and a decision by the 196th Assoc leadership, William Jack Eisenhower will be carried on our Honor Roll along with several others that belonged to the 11th LIB in the 4/21 INF Reg.
Although the 11th was not part of the 196th LIB, we have carried several individuals on our Honor Roll for many years as a result of confusion over their units. We will not remove them unless/until some other unit organization carries them on their rolls. |
