| Ken, How do I go about having a correction made? David Bukowski is listed as being with Alpha Company 3/21. I have documentation and eyewitnesses that place him in Charlie Company 3/21. |

On 5/25/1968 Co C 4/31 had the following KIA. They are currently listed under the wrong company on the Honor Roll
Sgt Steve Gomez
Cpl Dennis Lawrence Stiglitz
Sgt Eugene George O'Connell
These man were company C 4/31 and this was confirmed by one of their 3rd platoon man and they are currently properly listed in C 4/31 on the Virtual Wall.
Please make the correction.

i thought this was the whole purpose of this part of the forum--to bring up corrections that were needed...
actually we lost 4 on one day of a terrible week in May 1968-from the same platoon (3rd) ...
The one man, not on the list, is shown correctly on the Honor Roll AND the Virtual wall....his name is Ronald Curtis McEuen |

| There are a few others from C Company 3/21 who are listed as being with the 196th, but not with C Compnay 3/21. |

Easy guys, give us a chance. it has only been 5 days and I admit I was busy over the week end. Now Tom you say there are some other errors on the list.

Dave (David) Bukowski KIA May 13th, 1969 is listed as being with A Company 3/21. He was actually in C Company 3/21.
Lt. Fulton Moore KIA March 9th, 1969 listed as 196th LIB was with C Company 3/21
Chuck (Charles) Sturma KIA March 9th, 1969 also listed as 196th was with C Company 3/21.

I've been away for a few days, so I'm just catching up here.
The process to get the Honor Roll corrected is to post a NEW thread with the changes you believe need to be made.
Joe Mahoney will read the posts regularly, and then check the requested changes against the Coffelt (and other) databases. Many times he will await documentation from the individual's service record. If there is overwhelming evidence that the change should be made, he will send me the changes and I will then update the on-line information.
Please allow some time for all this to happen. We do not want to change information back and forth as different people give their impressions. We need to try and document all claims. |
