Is there a data base with casualties (KIAs) listed by date from early to later?
The Wall itself is such a thing, but I'd like to see the data for the 196th.

I just tried the new Honor Roll by date feature and it doesn't work for me any better than all Adobe pdf files.

OK, OK, I heard you... Check the Honor Roll page for an .html version of the list by date.
We have not completed the corrections to the KIA list yet, there are about 94 more name we have to add.

We've had the Honor Roll up on the site for a number of years. It was from the original Coffelt database. Over the years we've had many complaints that it was missing names, or the units were wrong, but we were never able to devote the time to fix it.
Recently, Joe Mahoney has volunteered to check all the names and make corrections, and he's been working at it for a while. Hopefully we are almost done. I've posted some of the corrections already, but there are still about 94 names to be checked and added.

Thanks Ken and Joe.  I am both gratified and mystified about the resurgence of interest in things now nearly 45 years past.
Is the pdf by date data base the same as the HTML one?
I am trying to get a sense of how the originals fared as far as casualties were concerned as well as other things that might be found from the Honor Roll.
If the pdf pages show date of beginning tour (almost all 7-15-66) for the Fort Devens group, then I'll try and resurrect Adobe.
So far it looks like there were about 200 KIAs in the brigade up to 7-15-67 when most if not all originals had headed home.
This number doesn't mean much in that so many had transferred out and even more had transferred in.  Random research of about ten names on the three on-line memorials show over half of the first year's KIAs not originals.
The brigade had about 1200 KIAs, with c. 170 in 1967, 320 in '68, 300 in '69 and 200 in 1970.
After we moved north to the area that saw all those casualties (over 80 in 8-69), in June '67 the entire brigade had but six KIAs.
I have a book, "Chargers, The Vietnam War" by F. Clifton Berry that I am re-reading to get a sense if possible as to how things changed.

The HTML and PDF by year are exactly the same. The PDF showing units is about 16 pages long, and we are almost ready to add 90+ names from the research.
In addition to the information previously provided on the alfa list that hasn't been corrected yet (at top of the Honor Roll page) there is a lot more information now available, which we hope to post in the future.
The information on many individuals includes the description of the incident, the Operation, and the map coordinates. I've put some of the coordinates into Google Earth and it zooms in on the satellite photo of the exact spot.
