I just had a new book published. While it's actually a summary of my life, several chapters are devoted to our time in Vietnam. I was a platoon leader in A Company, 3/21, then recon platoon leader with Echo Company. Since my call sign was Watchdog, the book is titled, not surprisingly, Watchdog Odyssey. I was there in 1968, so of course, this includes Nhi Ha. I don't even have my copies yet, but it will be released this week. It's already on Amazon.com, so if you search it, there's a pretty good summary. Jim Simpson

I also want to commend the organizers. I was in 3/21 47 years ago, yet this was the first reunion I had ever attended. I'm kicking myself. I should have been going every time. I met so many guys from my old platoon, and it was so good! Don't stall, because I can guarantee that none of us will be getting any younger. I was on an emotional high for two months!
