it sounds like a worthy cause.....any questions should be sent to Janna Hoehn (neverforgotten2014@gmail.com , yes, she is in Hawaii xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund in Washington DC is building a new museum, "The Education Center at the Wall" that will be adjacent to the Vietnam Wall on our National Mall. We are searching for photos of each and every Fallen Hero whom died in the Vietnam War to display in the new museum. If you have a photo of a Fallen Hero please contact me at neverforgotten2014@gmail.com. If you would like to learn more about the Education Center or check to see if we have a photo of a Fallen Hero. Go to: http://www.vvmf.org/thewall Type the Heroes name in the search box, his profile will come up. It cannot be a "nickname". If his profile does not come up, do the advanced search next to the search box, give us as much information that you have, Home of Record, Rank, branch of service. Etc. You do not have to fill out the entire form. Click on Education Center to learn more about the museum. If we need the Heroes photo and you have one, if you could email it to me at the above email address. I would be very grateful. We have collected over 44,000 of the 58,307 photos that we need. We are hoping to have a photo represent each and every one our Fallen Heroes. Thank you for your help. Aloha Janna Hoehn Team Leader for Faces Never Forgotten Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund

Frenchie: That seems like a worthy project. I am not sure what the difference in sponsorship is but I have found the resource here to be the most helpful over the years. Apparently it has stopped accepting new comments, but the ones I have made in the past remain.

Thanks Jim.....youre right and there is lots of good info also , aside from the pictures
However, i go these sites rarely...i find them sad and i question the whole war more and come back with no answers....just a waste of lives....so many that looked like all of us died for nothing so much for that domino theory. |
