I assumed you were talking about the flagpole in Calipatria, California, which is 184 feet so its flag is at sea level. I've seen that one. Dorris, Calif., has one at 200', Laredo,Tx, 308'. This one has them beat, but has taken several tries (and boocoo $) to make it safe. An older version fell over. In the UAE, there is one at 541'! |

I just got back last night from a C 2/1 reunion in Escanaba, Michigan and drove right by that flagpole. It is right off I-43 in Wisconsin. I saw it going up and then yesterday driving by it on the way home. |
