Oct in Fl is pretty good. Normally not too hot but definitely not cold. This morning it is now ( 4:39 AM )84 with a feel like of 93, the humidity is 84% |

I agree with you Jim, October is usually a good month here in Florida weather wise. Not too hot and the humidity is not oppressive, like it is now. And definitely, like you mentioned, not cold. A great month, as Ralph said. I'm in Nokomis on the gulf coast south of Sarasota and just north of Venice. Its going on 4 PM and its in the low 90's with humidity in the upper 90's. Feels like 100+. I was doing a little work outside this morning. Had to start early and could only go for a couple hours. Thank God for AC! How did we survive in Nam with the monsoon season and then the hot, dry season, not to mention all the other hazards of combat. I guess being 20 years old and full of piss and vinegar helped. That, and being with a group of like minded guys who had each others back. Anyway, I'm looking forward to Daytona Beach in Oct. 2015. |
