I assume that this is a national VA website....you can log on and check your blood work
results, blood pressure, glucose levels, test results etc etc ... you can also refill
medications there and send your doctor an email and im sure manyother things i
havent figured out yet.....sign up and log on I have to caution everyone that its for us to use but its not geared towards non medical people like us.... Im still getting my feet wet

Thanks for the link, Frenchie. As with everything VA, the form is a PITA. I filled it out, must have made some error, then was asked to start over. Maybe another day. |

Jim. if you go to the VA hospital there are people there that will fill out the information for you and get you signed up. They did mine. |

So I jumped through the hoops and got my registration accepted. As a test of the system, I asked for some information and got nothing useful back. I am not surprised at all. |

I should say that on my second login, I was able to call up a record of the few prescriptions I have gotten from the VA over the years. The only other info I can find is what I entered during the registration process. If there is a portal to more info, will someone please post it. I know there is a lot of stuff on my VA health computer page because the last four or five of my primary doctors have spent more time typing than examining. |

Its sad to see that the VA is so unresponsive to our needs and makes getting anything done so difficult. We all deserve much better. I had a similar experience to Jim on my last annual exam. I was sitting to the doc's side and she hardly even looked at me during the entire visit. She just starred into her computer and asked me some questions, didn't really exam me at all. The best of luck to all of us with our health and in our dealings with the VA. We need it! |
