I volunter with the PrayFast group which we have a table at the Ft Hood airport for all manifests, troops being deployed   http://prayfast.org/

One book available is "Down Range to Irag and Back" writen by Bridget C. Cantrell, Ph.D. and Chuck Dean (Vietnam Vet)

Chuck Dean also has a book "Nam Vet: Making Peace with Your Past"

Another good book is "What it is like to Go War" by Karl Marlantes
