Earlier this year I got a great 196th ball cap through one of our own
The pin is the regimental insignia for the 21st Infantry
In-other-words it's the pin for the 3/21st 'Gimlets' battalion

If you want one contact 'Doc'

Thanks for the plug, Jack!  Those caps have been very popular . . . so much so that a bunch of F Troopers wanted one made up with the 17th Cav crest embroidered on it.  So I had them made up on a black cap and also on a green cap.  If I could figure out how to post a picture, I'd post one!

Doc, are the green 196th ball caps still available. If so, please let me know how much they are and I'll send you a check.   Thanks,    Bob

The caps come in green or black and that 21st Inf pin in the picture is not included.  The caps are now $15 ea, the CIB on the back is $5, and shipping is $5.  If you want 2 caps, shipping total is $6; 3 caps = $7 (shipping to the same address).  If you want a CIB or CMB pin, add $4.

I ordered a green one last year and am very pleased with it.  I agree with your comments about it, James.

The OD green 196th baseball caps are back in stock!  Unit crests are in as well.  Caps are $15 + $5 shipping and unit crests are $8 + $2 shipping.  If a cap and crest are shipped in the same box, then it's just $5 shipping.  A CIB or CMB pin (1 1/2") is $4 and a large (3") cloth CIB attached to the back of the cap is $5.
