F Troopers and Families,

The F troop, 17th Cavalry 2010 Reunion will be held at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, July 21st - July 25th, 2010. The Reunion Committee has organized an exciting event with a trip to Fort Knox where we will tour the post, attend a formal memorial ceremony for our fallen Troopers with services and music by the 113th Army Band, lunch at the post facilities, and finishing with a guided tour of the General Patton Museum.

A committee has been working to have a regimental-sized memorial stone bearing the names of all our Vietnam dead, insignia, and prose erected and dedicated in the Patton Museum Memorial Garden at the time of our visit. Although the time frame is compressed, all essential tasks to accomplish this, including fund raising, are successfully underway. Please call for a Reunion Registration Packet, and follow the directions if you will be attending. Response has been brisk and it appears that this reunion will be one of our very best. Come...spend some time with your Vietnam Brothers and their families, enjoy the planned festivities, tour attractions in the Louisville area, and take part in what will be a memorable get-together.
